Stories From Around the World

Compare and contrast the experience of reading a story, drama, or poem to listening to or viewing an audio, video, or live version of the text, including contrasting what they "see" and "hear" when reading the text to what they perceive when they listen or watch. 

Saint George and the Dragon took students back to the Medieval Period. Where dragons and knights fought, and Royalty lived in castles.

First, students made puppets (characters) for their Dragon Story. A knight, princess, castle, and dragon.
First students built Armor, Shields, Knights, and castles.
Then they used Google Docs independently or with a partner. (Sharing in GoogleDocs)

Then, they wrote a Midieval story using some of the characters in the book. They had several writing choices: Use Google Docs, Note cards, or Microsoft Word. 

In the days when monsters and giants and fairy folk lived in England.
